_Voie, Voix, Vois _questions and challenges hierarchies. The performance takes the form of a collaborative trio between multi-disciplinary artist Saaber Bachir, who is also a person with a handicap, musician Antoine Leroy and performer Gaël Santisteva. Through the treatment of the voice and the art of ventriloquism, they explore questions of legitimacy, power and freedom, submission and control. With the help of a sound system, they deconstruct expectations to leave room for free will and marginality. An invitation to take the time to witness an absurd, fantasized dialogue between three people who decide not to consider the differences that might stigmatize them.
Saaber Bachir (multi-disciplinary artist), Antoine Leroy (musician) and Gaël Santisteva (performer) met in December 2022 during the creation of Ateliers Indigo's Cabaret Cosmos.
This Brussels-based association supports some twenty artists with disabilities, active in plastic arts, stage and music workshops. The association provides them with a personal space in which to develop their practice, as well as a team of qualified artists to support and train them.
