In_ Crescendo_, a monumental work of art, Julian Vogel, Marc Oosterhoff and Simone Aubert create a space for experimentation where their artistic worlds meet and coexist. At once circus, music, performance and magic. At the crossroads of the sensitive, the perilous and the perpetual. Suspended ceramic objects swirl in space. A body seeks balance on a wooden plank or sandbags. A voice, amplified and transformed, embraces the rhythms that build in power. A project born out of the space and the moment it is created in. Julian Vogel's work is at the crossroads of contemporary circus, visual arts and ceramics. A graduate of ACaPA (Tilburg), he creates ceramic objects that he sets in motion, exploring their physical and poetic potential.
Marc Oosterhoff, trained at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri and La Manufacture, choreographs risk, instability and suspension.
Her work incorporates dance, physical theater and acrobatics. Simone Aubert, a self-taught musician with a Fine Arts background, moves between experimental rock, sound composition and stage performances. Her raw, instinctive language is at once intimate, political and free.
