Sheherazaad, named after the legendary queen and storyteller of the Thousand and One Nights, embodies a bold new voice from the South Asian diaspora. At the crossroads of folk, electronica and Eastern influences, she fashions a hybrid, poetic musical universe, exploring migration, memory and imaginary homelands. After the acclaimed single Mashoor, released on Erased Tapes (Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds,...), her EP Qasr (2024) confirms her talent as a narrator of spellbinding narratives, through an innovative musical prism.
