Mikrob, aka Julie, is part of the Kluster sound system, founded with her three best friends. Rooted in alternative spaces, she draws inspiration from free parties and squats. Rather than technical perfection, she seeks to create a shared energy on the dancefloor. For her, free parties are political spaces of freedom, resistance, and self-organization.
This show is part of the Carte Blanche given to STATEMENT, a non-hierarchical support platform founded in 2017, dedicated to promoting women and gender-diverse artists from various backgrounds in electronic music, as well as Switzerland’s alternative club culture. Since its inception, the collective has stood out for its commitment to fostering exchange between different music scenes and their actors, as well as encouraging the circulation of artists across the country’s linguistic regions.
