A performance for rollerblades and drums,_ DESORDEN_ is conceived as a hypnotic, agitated obscure pop rite. Justine Berthillot subverts the figure of the dancer trapped in her music box, accompanied by Xavier Roumagnac on drums. She rolls with her skates as one wanders in one's unconscious, defying gravity, playing with balance, slipping and falling, like a sound-driven puppet in trance.
Justine Berthillot also presents _l'Âge de détruire_ on Thursday and Friday on the Saint Maur stage.
Justine Berthillot is a choreographer, director and circus artist, who heads the Morgane company.
After studying philosophy and attending the CNAC, she went on to create a number of works combining circus and dance_: Noos_ (CND Pantin) and On ne fait pas de pacte avec les bêtes, with Mosi Espinoza (SN Chalon-sur-Saône), and the in-situ performances Notre forêt (Centre Pompidou-Metz) and DESORDEN.
After Sujet à Vif at the Festival d'Avignon, she explored with P. Peyrade the encounter between movement and literature: Poings, Carrosse, L'Âge de détruire. She is associated with SN l'Espace des Arts, and with the CND for the 23/24 season. At the crossroads of various artistic languages, she creates hybrid and political narratives between fiction and performance.
