In 2023, Jonas Albrecht’s debut at the Cité happened at Les Balcons de la Mercerie, performing solo on drums in a mind-blowing set that left a lasting impression. Since then, the project has evolved into a dynamic, explosive ensemble of 6-7 musicians, who now celebrate, stretch, distort, and transcend this sonic material in their live performances. Together, they explore ritualistic, circular, and collective forms, balancing between screams and breath, rave and minimalism. In this sonic choreography of bodies in trance, everything is transformed into percussive material: pulses turn into walls, the brass section becomes a growl, and ecstasy fills the cracks.
