With their debut EP Put All Your Money Into Therapy, Cocon Javel's music is deliciously tangy, sweet and catchy, with sophisticated songwriting. On stage, the trio provide incredibly direct, gentle, raw, touching and catchy performances. Cocon Javel play with rage and intensity, in the urgency of an assertive existence. Against fear, for courage. A quest for transformation - starting with oneself. The EP is a multi-faceted work that blurs the boundaries between electronic music, experimental music, pop and rock. The three musicians julie b., Athina Dill and Mélusine Chappuis describe their own style as “Candy Roquefort”. The EP's four tracks tackle pressing social issues such as the relationship with one's own body, psychological health and the challenges of self-improvement. With a mix of sincere self-love and critical reflection, the band aims to encourage listeners to consider these themes.
