Katerina Andreou's first group piece is based on what she calls “constant noise”, a psychic and emotional state produced by a society where instability and doubt are omnipresent.
_Bless This Mess_ is born in this bubbling space, full of blind spots, which creates momentum and an irrepressible desire to move with others. Accompanied by Lily Brieu Nguyen, Baptiste Cazaux and Mélissa Guex, Katerina Andreou attempts to place choreographic work and sound in a place of necessity, leaving room for the absurd and playful - a way of creating spaces of respite and joy. An eagerly-awaited return after her landmark performance_ Rave To Lament_ in 2023 at La Cité.

Born in Athens, Katerina Andreou is based in France.

Her work seeks states of presence that result from constant negotiation between contrasting and even contradictory tasks, fictions and universes, often challenging notions of authority and censorship. She creates the soundscapes for her works herself, which become her main dramaturgical tool. She was awarded the Prix Jardin d'Europe in 2016 for her solo A kind of fierce. She went on to create BSTRD (2018), Zeppelin Bend (2021),Rave to Lament (2021), lMourn Baby Mourn (2022) and most recently Bless This Mess (2024).

In 2025, she created How Romantic for the Norwegian national company Carte Blanche.
